Before and After Care

To really shine, your lashes need care before and after your application. We’ll go over proper maintenance, so that you can feel confident in your gorgeous lashes. Here’s how you can ensure the best application before you arrive:

• Do not curl, or perm or tint your lashes.

• Do not have a spray tan or facial before your lash extension appointment. It is advisable to undergo these treatments at least 4-5 days prior your lash appointment.

• Book your appointment at least 5 days prior to a wedding or function, in case you develop an allergic reaction.

• Cease wearing waterproof mascara at least 3-5 days prior your appointment to ensure all oily residue has been removed.

• Please ensure you remove all eye make up so you receive the most from your appointment and enable a strong adherence of the adhesive to the natural lashes so your extensions last longer.

• Take out your contact lenses. Your eyes will be shut for an hour or so and dryness in the eyes could cause redness or a slight discharge. 

 

At times I do see clients who have extensive damage to their natural lashes from applications by other stylists. If your lashes are damaged or weak, it might be time for a well-deserved break from eyelash extensions.
