Cancellation policy
For the care and priority of our clients, NO cancellations or changes to appointments are allowed within 24 hours of the appointment.
As courtesy, please allow at least 48 hours (2 business days) to re-schedule your appointment, so that we have time to reappoint your appointment to someone else. No changes can be made to the appointment within 24 hours (1 business days) of the appointment. If you might need to change or amend your appointment within 24 hours, this will incur a cancellation fee.
No shows Policy:
A confirmation email is sent out soon after an appointment has been booked and 48 hours prior your appointment. Within those 48 hours, it is solely your responsibility to remember your appointment.
No shows will not be tolerated, as it greatly affects our small business, especially during the peak times like Mother’s Day, Melbourne Cup and Christmas/New Year’s, when waiting lists are very long, so please be considerate. Full payment will be required for ‘no-show’ or missed appointments & you will be unable to make future bookings with us, until that has been amended. Each client will be allowed 1 free missed appointment, after which no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.
How long will my eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions last between 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. Glam Lashes recommend 3 - 4 week infills to keep them looking nice and full. You will not be disappointed with lash retention at Glam Lashes. We use the highest quality adhesives with the highest grade of retention free from formaldehyde and latex.
Will I be able to feel my eyelash extensions?
Lashes will look and feel completely real. With no extra weight on your natural lashes, you won’t even feel like you’re wearing them. You will find that you will need to wear less make up and you will leave the salon with no clustered lashes.
How long will my appointment take?
Allow 60-90 minutes depending on the amount of lashes required for a full set. Refills will require 45 -70 mins. For a Russian volume set you need to allow at least 2 - 3 hrs. We are very time efficient as we have applied hundreds of sets and are confident about the quality of work we deliver.
How many lashes make a full set?
Approximately 70 -100+ lashes per eye.
Can I use eye makeup remover?
Only water based make-up remover or cleanser is recommended. Others that contain oils will affect the glue and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions.
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
No. Your eyelashes must be clean. Please avoid wearing water proof mascara 2-3 days before your appointment - Oils in water proof mascara will affect the life of your lash extensions.
Can I wear mascara after eyelash extensions?
Glam Lashes advises against wearing any sort of mascara. It will reduce the life of your eyelash extensions.
What maintenance is required?
We recommend washing your extensions every second day to remove dust, dirt and oils and to avoid infections. Glam Lashes recommends that you brush your lashes daily so they remain straight and in line with your natural lashes. Care instructions will be given at your appointment.
When should I NOT have eyelash extensions applied?
Avoid having eyelash extensions applied while you have any eye irritations or infections. Also avoid them if you experience high allergies or sensitivities to skin or hair care products.
How often should refills be made?
We recommend refills every 3 weeks.
Can I wear contact lenses during my appointment?
Glam Lashes recommends you remove your contact lenses, as your eyes will be shut for the duration of the appointment.
